Deciphering the Digits of Digitisation
Digitisation is a series of processes & practices, increasingly being used to preserve 'at risk' and irreplaceable materials of unique heritage collections – whether Gallery, Museum or Library based. Unfortunately for those grappling with the technical complexities of Digital Imaging, it often seems to be an arcane art rife with diabolical digits & nerd words.
In this 3 hour seminar, Brent Acie will attempt to demystify the concepts & jargon so important to our understanding, enabling us to make informed decisions and compromises about our digitisation quality control & workflow. |
