Crack the Code on the West Coast

The Crack the Code West Coast Adventure is an interactive virtual scavenger hunt designed to encourage community participation, teamwork, and exploration across the West Coast of Tasmania. The crack the code will start on the 1st September and finish on the 6th September, when to get to the fun afternoon.
Participants can stay in their own home town, where they will scan unique QR codes that reveal clues leading them to collect letters. These letters will combine to form words within a hidden sentence, with the completed message directing participants to a community afternoon of activities, fun, and laughter. To ensure the event is accessible to everyone, a printed version of the hunt will also be available for those without access to a smartphone.
The project encourages people to work together in teams to solve the challenge, promoting collaboration, problem-solving, and community connection.
The fun afternoon will be full of quiz’s, activities to get them thinking. Prizes will be awarded to the person or group who finish first in each town and prize for the photo competion
Running alongside the scavenger hunt will be a “Follow Your Compass” photo competition. Participants will capture and submit photographs inspired by the theme, with entries displayed and voted on during the community fun afternoon, where the winning photograph will be announced.
