Cultural Learnings – Human Library Experience

This Adult Learners’ Week (1-8 September), we are opening our doors to anyone who would like to join us for a one-off Human Library experience.
Some of our more confident learners will be happy to sit down 1:1 for an exchange of cultural information about their country of origin.
As a way of practising their English-speaking skills, they will attempt to answer simple questions such as: what foods do you serve for special celebrations?, how do you celebrate birthdays? (some cultures don’t mark their date-of-birth at all), what inventions originated from your birth-country?

Arrive at 1.15pm for a 1.30 start. Afternoon tea provided.
