Great news for local people: TBB- TRADITIONAL BOOKBINDING is coming to the Violet Town Library..

Bookbinding Exhibition: Bookbinding restoration service- Free inspection available.
Old bookbinding tools and books on display, TBB is a bindery based in NE Victoria, specializing in book restoration, aiming to rescue as many old books as possible, so people can preserve them for future generations.

As generations change, traditional bookbinding has become a lost art. In order to keep the history of many families and the history of Australia, TBB will be providing free book care advice, so the community can LEARN how to care for & store their books correctly.

If anyone’s family heirloom books or any books are in need of repair, the book restorers will be providing a free inspection and quote at the exhibition.

If you are interested in creating your own book, TBB bookbinders would be happy to make your first project a lot easier by providing suitable suggestions. Materials and supplies will also be available for purchase.
