
Due to popular demand Tej Gyan Global Foundation is offering 20 free online ‘Ashtanga’ Yoga sessions to help us all stay fit and healthy.
Yoga is not just practicing postures (Asana) and breathing exercises (Pranayama). It is a lifestyle.
Sage Patanjali, from India, has given an eight-fold path or a practical guide leading to liberation called Ashtanga Yoga. Ashtanga literally means “eight limbs”. Asanas and Pranayama are just two of the eight limbs.
During these 20 sessions, we will learn about the 8 limbs of Yoga and try simple practical techniques to apply them in our daily lives. These techniques will guide us to live a healthy, happy, blissful and purposeful life.

Plastics seem to have infiltrated every aspect of our lives from packaging to food storage to skincare and clothes. This workshop looks at the ways to eliminate plastic from our lives by suggesting alternatives to common products and demonstrating how to make beeswax food wraps.

This IT instruction is for absolute beginners. Weekly lessons are one-on-one which means you have the undivided attention of the trainer. Lessons cover emailing, visiting interesting websites and using Google search. The trainer will set you up with an email address if you don’t already have one. Fro tablet/smart phone instruction, you will be shown how to install and use common apps.

Take your fitness outdoors!
Now that some of the Coronavirus restrictions have been eased, Inner West Council will recommence the popular Women’s Dance Fit program outside using social distance. Yesterday we were advised that we can now have 19 participants outdoors however bookings are still essential. Please arrive 5 mins prior to the start of the class.
A fun dance based class incorporating all styles of dance. This class is for women only and is suitable for all ages and capabilities. A great way to get fit, get moving and meet other women in the community. The perfect combination of social interaction and fitness.
