In collaboration with Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Currumbin Clinic & Young Veteran Support Services, we have an amazing weekly Veterans Wildlife Studies program which will run for 2 hours each Tuesday for 9 weeks commencing 19th July 2022. This program is for Veterans and is designed by the education team at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

Wildlife Studies Program Description:

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Wildlife Studies is perfect for those with a keen interest in seeking knowledge and understanding of wildlife. This program immerses participants in a real zoo experience and gives Veterans exposure to working in the zoo environment.

Wildlife Studies participants meet with their dedicated Education Officer each week and learn about the inside story about the operation of a zoological park. They venture behind the scenes, learn about animal training, gain skills in handling and rescue techniques and are involved in enrichment activities.

  • Registration will be required by Monday the day before.
  • Meet time is 8:45am at Cafe Entrance of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary sharp.
