Become a Library Ambassador

Expand your own knowledge and idea of what libraries have to offer in our communities.
Do you have people in your life that are looking to connect with others, a space to focus, access resources and information or find learning opportunities?

Explore some library myths and be guided through some things you may not know we have, including:
* a Home Library Service,
* emerging technologies,
* family and local history records, and
* eResources such as eMagazines and eNewspapers.

We will also cover how to:
* encourage others in using the library in your personal life and/or through Libraries Tasmania as a volunteer, and
* use some enticing library goodies (that you will get to keep).

Libraries are more important than ever; providing free educational resources, preserving history and cultural heritage, boosting local economies, providing safe and reliable spaces for all, and helping to build communities.

Join us in attempting to reach more of our community and encouraging people to see what the library has for them while having a rewarding volunteer experience.
