This training session will give participants a comprehensive understanding of intersectional approaches in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) practice. It will emphasise the importance of recognising intersecting oppressions, fostering a safe and inclusive workplace culture, and integrating diverse knowledge into AOD interventions. Through interactive activities, case studies, and group discussions, participants will gain practical insights into implementing intersectional strategies to enhance their AOD practice.

Target Audience:
This training is suitable for AOD practitioners, lived experience workforce, healthcare professionals, service leaders, social workers, counsellors, and anyone involved in providing support and interventions in the AOD field.
