Fashion Workshops at Brunswick Neighbourhood House

Brunswick Neighbourhood House will be hosting affordable fashion workshops for adult learners’ week 2023. Workshops including ‘Fashion Drawing’ and ‘Personal Colour Schemes’ will be led by our tutor Heather, who has more than 20 years’ experience teaching fashion design and textiles. Both workshops are catered to people of all abilities and biscuits will be provided for a morning tea break.
Our Fashion Drawing Workshop will involve different developmental illustration techniques from figure to garment drawing. This skillset is essential to all fashion designers so that they can communicate their ideas, but it’s also fun and approachable to artists and creatives who want to try a new illustration style.
The Personal Colour Scheme workshop is all about finding what colours suit you best! Discover the secret to selecting colours that work for your individual complexion. Learn about colour groups and systems that will simplify how to choose clothing. The workshop explains colour systems and how to use those select wardrobe preferences that complement individual complexions and avoid costly clothing mistakes.
Prices = $16 per workshop or $14 concession.
