The Vintage Village is our “living history museum” – a historic recreation of Fairfield City businesses and residences between the 1880’s and 1930’s. It is one of our most popular attractions and offers a chance to experience history firsthand, as if you were there in that time period.

The Vintage Village has a mixture of original heritage-listed buildings and reconstructed buildings. Some of the historic sites you can visit at the Vintage Village include a 1930s schoolhouse, a 1880s cottage, a slab hut, a 1930s general store, a newspaper printery, a blacksmithery, a motor garage and a hay shed.
