Learn how to make delicious Kombucha in this hour-long workshop at Kootingal Library. All you need to bring is your own clean, sterilised jar – to take home your scoby and starter liquid. Learn how to make it at home yourself from simple ingredients and a few basic kitchen tools, how to keep it healthy, and how to flavour and carbonate it. You will also learn how it ferments and why it can help to promote good gut health! We will be opening a bottle of Kombucha at each session so you can experience the taste first hand, and how to experiment with alternative recipes. Our instructor has years of experience in fermenting Kombucha and is certified in Safe Food Handling. Prerequisites:
