Ltyentye Apurte One Day Festival of Knowledge!

Ltyentye Apurte is a remote Aboriginal community located in the Northern Territory (NT) of Australia. It is situated approximately 90 kilometers southeast of Alice Springs.
in May, Ltyentye Apurte officially launched the Ltyentye Apurte Adult Learning Centre – A centre for learning, training, sharing skills and knowledge and a go-to for support for all kinds of requests from local educators.
The Ltyentye Apurte One Day Festival of Knowledge will celebrate knowledge, skills and life-long learning in Ltyentye Apurte by bringing together many local traditional knowledge and skills providers with trainers and educators across a variety of fields, from Ltyentye Apurte and Alice Springs. The aim will be to connect local adults with educators from 8 important literacies including: Health & Nutrition, Housing, Legal, Digital, Economic, Political, Community-Culture-Language, and Reading & Writing.
Activities will include: BBQ with healthy eating options, stalls and activities from local providers and educators from Alice Springs.
