Visit our special exhibitions Bilas: Body Adornment from Papua New Guinea, featuring photographs by Wylda Bayr—n, and Barka: The Forgotten River, developed by Uncle Badger Bates and Justine Muller with the Barkandji community.

Witness the history and diversity of the worldÕs oldest living cultures in our First Nations Galleries, Bayala Nura (Yarning Country) and Garrigarrang (Sea Country). Or get up close with Dinosaurs and Australian animals, learn about 100 Treasures of the Australian Museum with stories of 100 of Australia’s most influential people in the 200 Treasures of the Australian Museum exhibition, and be dazzled by over 1800 spectacular rocks and minerals in our newest permanent exhibition Minerals.
