Wheelchair Nature Scoot and Shoot

FreeParks Victoria and Victoria Walks invite you to join our experienced volunteer guides to explore Churchill National Park by wheels or foot. There will be an opportunity to contribute observations of flora and fauna to Parks Victoria’s citizen science projects through iNaturalist (online global platform for science and conservation observations), however no prior experience with iNaturalist is required.
There will also be opportunities throughout the trail to photograph the flora and fauna of the park with experienced wildlife photographer. BYO camera.

The trail is just over 2.5 kms and flat and easy, however for most manual wheelchair users, some form of electric aid is recommended. It follows an old water channel through the scenic bushland of south east Melbourne’s Churchill National Park.
Please bring a water bottle, closed comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for all weather conditions.
Please bring binoculars if you have them, but they are not essential for the scoot.
