Jixiang Pang, Victoria

Jixiang is currently undertaking a beginner English class through the Adult Migrant Education Program run by Djerriwarrh Community and Education Services.

Jixiang’s dedication to learning English has led to improvement in his skills and confidence. A regular attendee, Jixiang is now more willing to ask questions, get involved in class activities and help other students.

His improved English is also helping him become more involved in his life in Australia and particularly the interests and hobbies that he enjoys such as working around the home, gardening and photography.

Jixiang wants to continue improving his English with higher level EAL studies. He is hoping this might allow him to open up connections in relation to his photography and pursue volunteering interests.
